Teen Driver Ed takes your teen from the first classroom module to a confident road test. The classroom is online and self-paced; the driving happens with one instructor who gets to know how your teen learns.
Traffic laws, signs and right-of-way in plain English
Scanning, mirrors and keeping a safe following distance
Neighborhood streets, busy intersections and highway on-ramps
Parking lots, parallel parking and three-point turns
What to do at a traffic stop or after a minor crash
Texas asks for 44 hours behind the wheel in total: 14 with your instructor and 30 of supervised practice with a parent, including 10 at night. We give you a plan so those practice hours build on each lesson.

Questions
When can my teen start?
Teens can begin the classroom at 14 and apply for a learner license at 15, once the first part of the classroom is done.
Do parents have to drive with them too?
Yes. State rules require supervised practice with a licensed adult. You’ll get a short lesson-by-lesson guide so every practice drive counts.
Can the program be taught in Spanish?
Yes. Carmen Ruiz teaches the full teen program in English or Spanish, and parent texts can be in either language.
